QVerse is a digital twin of Qatar Airways' own spaces. The Qsuite business cabin, economy, the lounges, and the premium check-in hall at Hamad International, rebuilt in 3D and opened to anyone with a browser or a headset. Walking a cabin answers what a photograph and a seat map cannot, and it answers it before the fare page, which is where premium seats are won or lost.

The ground half of QVerse. The visit opens on a choice of three check-in halls, one for each cabin class, all open onto the same place: the transit hall at Hamad International. That hall is the hub, with its own route to the boarding gates so none of the detour is compulsory, and every other ground environment is one move from it — the Al Mourjan, Al Safwa, Al Maha and Louis Vuitton lounges, the Qatar Duty Free hall, and The Orchard, the garden at the centre of the terminal. From any of them the visitor carries on to the boarding gates at A, B and CDE — except the duty free hall, whose exit leaves QVerse for QDF online shopping.

I was responsible for UI/UX across web and VR, including sketches, wireframes, user journeys, prototyping in 3D whenever the challenge was spatial. The team grew, and we delivered the project together with Qatar Airways’ in-house team and built the design system needed to keep the work moving forward.
